Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen this afternoon held a bilateral discussion with Cameroonian Foreign Minister Lejeune Mbella Mbella at the @EthiopiainKE

They discussed on ways of further cementing cooperation at bilateral, continental and multilateral venues.Excellencies Demeke and Mbella, who are in Nairobi to take part in the upcoming 43rd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the @_AfricanUnion  (13-14 July) agreed to cement longstanding diplomatic relations. Among others, they agreed to resume political consultations. Demeke said, Ethiopia accords special attention to its relation with the West African country. He also briefed the FM on the progress of the implementation of the Pretoria Peace Agreement and lauded Cameroon’s support on international fora.
