New Passport for Childe
- Birth card (Shahda Mildat) certified by foreign affairs
- Original and 2 (two copies) of mother's and father's passports
- The child is presented in person
- 4 passport size photos (white background)
- Payment 563 SR
- If one of the parents is a citizen of another country, they must submit a letter from the embassy confirming that they have not previously taken a passport in the child's name.
Passport Renewal
- Applicant is presented in person;
- The original and 2 copies of the passport with 6 months of service remaining
- 3 photographs (white background)
- Service charge (563 SR)
Data Correction
- If it is for a name change, when evidence is provided that has been determined by the courts in Ethiopia and proven in a foreign case
- Birth place and date of birth when proof of birth certificate is presentedÂ
- The applicant appears in person and documents are completed
- Service charge 1313 SR will be charged.

Undocumented Citizens
- Â bank book with legal confirmation (with stamp), Ethiopian Residence ID (birth card) ;
- The undocumented form should filled and submitted , After all the documents checked and filtered by various diplomatic committees the committee will makes a decision.
- Passport Size Photo
- 2 copies of documents forms filled and stamped and fingerprints are taken;
- Charges a service charge of SR 563.
For a lost Passport
- Those who have EP No
- If you know the passport number correctly
- Filled with a new form with the rest and main
- 5 photos (white background)
- Service fee 1313 SRÂ same for children and adults
- Lost for the copy if they have previous passport,
- Damaged passport which is out of service due to various reasons will be accommodated on payment of 2 photocopies of the damaged passport.
